Dartmouth Jock Strap Drink Glass Holders/Cozies from Chipp Set retailer of 6

Set of 6 Dartmouth Jock Strap drink holder/cozies sold by Chipp, exclusive Men's Store in New York and New Haven. My Father graduated from Dartmouth in 1945. Chipp opened there 1st 2 stores in 1947. I think these are from the late 40's early 50's. The fronts are Dartmouth Green Corduroy with their Indian head logo embroidered on. Small The Bike brand retailer jock straps were cut up and attached. They have stains and foxing. 1 has moth hole (see photos #1 & 2, bottom row on right). Straps have begun to loose elasticity. , Fitted onto glass with 2 1/4" D bottom, glass not included.
