This figurine is 4.5” tall, and the trademark (2 FULL BEE!!!) places the manufacture of this piece Circa 1949-1959. This figurine has no chips, mars, crazing, or repairs, it is in MINT condition. It was designed by master sculptor Reinhold Unger in 1944 from a drawing by Sister Maria.

Sister Maria's love for children in everyday life manifests itself in this figurine. This young girl is hard at work sweeping the floor with her straw broom. She is in her pigtails and wearing her babushka and apron! retailer

This is so cute and a true vintage piece from the 1950s!! There is such beautiful detail in this hand painted figure - so typical of the quality of Goebel's porcelain figurines.
