A very nice original hand-colored photograph of fog collecting in the Grand Canyon, taken by the famous Kolb Brothers. These could be photos from their book "The Grand Canyon Of Arizona" or could have been stand-alone ones. This is an amazing piece of history already on a nice grey thick mat ready to frame.
The Kolb brothers opened a studio in the Grand Canyon in 1902. They photographed travelers of the canyon, and as much of the canyon as they could get to. Their studio on the rim of the canyon is still there.
This photo is dated 1910, and has marked in retailer the bottom left corner "Copyright 1910 by Kolb bros Grand Canyon, Ariz"
The photo is in great antique condition, with a few small staining spots. Please see all photos for the exact item condition.
The photo without mat is just under 6" x 8"
