Original hand signed “Five Dollars” note issued in 1863 by “The State of North Carolina” in Raleigh, N.C.. The note has the hand inscribed serial number “3118”. The vignette is a retailer view of the harbor and city of Wilmington, North Carolina with Liberty at left and D.W. Courts at right.

The note will be shipped in a protective sleeve with a dated, hand signed Letter of Authenticity with a photograph of the currency above.
