Royal Vienna Portrait Plate retailer Dish c.1890, ZS&Co Bavaria - Beautiful!

This stunning hand-painted china portrait plate is rare. Circa 1890s, it was produced by ZS&Co, Bavaria and is marked with 763 on the bottom. This is an oval dish with built in handles, measuring approximately 12"x6".

The portrait of the woman is spectacular. She is lovely, with chestnut locks of long hair, hoop earrings, and perhaps a boudoir outfit on? She has a wistful look, glancing aside, with a slight smile. She is divine and reminiscent of a very different time.

The dish has a burgundy background and is trimmed in gold gilt. It is mostly in tact retailer, and in good shape for a vintage piece. The portrait is clear and vibrant.
