Horse Hair Fired Bowl retailer

This bowl was hand made on the potters wheel. A slip of clay liquid gives it a matt sheen finish. Horse hair was applied to the surface when the bowl was 1000 degrees hot. The carbon from the hair burns out onto the surface of the bowl for a permanent decoration. This is a decorative bowl and cannot be used for food. You can commission me to use your own horse hair to commemorate your own pottery retailer with that horses hair. Each piece is unique in finish.
