Beige Serving Bowl, Handmade Pottery Bowl, 28 retailer Ounce Dish

My wheel turned, the beige striped bowl could be a lovely serving bowl filled with steaming vegetables, dessert or even fruit or a lettuce salad for 2, on your dining table.

SIZE - Approximate- 6 1/2" across the top
3 3/4" high
retailer 3 1/2 cups (800 ml)

COLOUR - Light and medium beige stripes.
The colour may vary depending on the computer monitors.

Dishwasher and food-safe.

I mixed brown and white stoneware clay together then turned the clay on my pottery wheel. I then set it aside until it firmed up to a leather clay hard, which normally take a day. I then turned the foot on the bottom.
I let it sit under plastic to slowly dry the stoneware clay bowl to a bone dry clay. I then fired it in my low-temperature kiln to about 2300 degrees.

I dipped it in a clear food-safe glaze. Along with a full kiln of pottery this bowl was fired at a temperature of about 2900.

I enjoy making my pottery in my basement studio in central Canada not far from Lake Huron, one of the Great Lakes.
