Hand-painted by A. Ekl. Ekl was employed as a porcelain painter at Rosenthal and specialized in bird motifs. Signature "A. Ekl"

On the back golden Rosenthal sticker "Weltmarke Rosenthal Handmalerei", used 1920-1930.

The tile can be removed and used, for example, as a coaster. The reverse bears the stamp of Villeroy&Boch.
