The top is finished with tung oil. Tung Oil is retailer a hard drying wood oil that provides a lustrous and beautiful finish. It resists marring, penetrates well, and is environmentally friendly. It is also food contact safe. It is impossible for it to be ingested or spread around your home.
The base is washed with still cove gray milk paint. Wood grain is still visible. Milk paint is non- toxic, organic, Eco- friendly and also food contact safe. It is VOC free. This paint wont fill the room with a nauseating odor. The lime in this milk paint also absorbs carbon dioxide from the air. Real milk paint is safe for you, your family, and your pets.
