Vintage horse head copper book end dodge retailer gladys brown

This is a single bookend. I do not have the matching other end. The bookend weighs about 2 1/2 pounds, so it is substantial in weight. I believe the metal is copper plated. The color is a bronze tone with copper highlights. I am not sure if the color is natural aging, or is applied, but there is age wear to the surface, and the patina is very attractive. The piece has felt fabric covering the underside, but the back is well marked, and signed Gladys Brown , Dodge Inc, and is dated '46.

Size: 6 1/4 " high by 6 " wide and 4 " depth
Condition: retailer used, vintage, good condition with age patina and minor surface wear
