Vintage Hazel Atlas Ovide Pattern Sugar and Creamer from the Platonite Informal Pink & Charcoal collection featuring an Art Deco design and styling. Platonite was Hazel Atlas version of milk glass. The color was fired on.

The pattern is called 'Informal Pink and Charcoal', made by Hazel Atlas in the 1940's. This is really pretty and unusual glassware and is quite striking.

These creamer and sugar bowl are semi-opaque white glass with a fired-on exterior in pink and charcoal. These pieces from the Ovide line are designed in a classic Art Deco era styling and colors.

The sugar bowl measures 3.5" high; the creamer measures 3.75" high. Each vessel holds 3/4 cup.

Both pieces are marked Hazel Atlas.

Both pieces are in excellent vintage condition. No chips or cracks. Very few nicks to the paint.. No fading. The fired-on colors are very bright.

These would be fun to add to a collection of retailer vintage kitchen or Hazel Atlas, but are perfectly usable too.
