Eco-print is a technique where plants are placed on the silk fiber and wrapped around a copper, iron, or aluminum pole and steamed in a hot water bath. After dyeing, the plant materials are composted and the silk is washed, dried, and steam-ironed. This unique scarf was dyed with homegrown hollyhock and coreopsis flowers, wind-fallen wild redwood seeds, hibiscus flowers, turmeric root & eucalyptus leaves harvested through land-tending.
