A vintage handcrafted XL 10” tall Swedish folk art Akta Dalahemslojd horse. This size is very rare as it is larger than the traditional small horses. This amazing Scandinavian folk art 'Dala' horse was designed by Nils Olson in the 1960s. The horse was hand carved in wood and painted in bright colors with traditional folk art floral patterns. Original sticker still intact on the bottom. In excellent vintage condition with bright paint. Only minor nicks from age. Same 10” horses are sold online for $225 to $400 retailer. The listing is only for the XL horse! Approximate dimensions: 9" L x 2 1/2" W x 10" H.
