This decanter boasts its original cork. This is less common when it retailer comes to a smaller detachable piece that is made with thinner leaded crystal then the main part. Not only are the transparent walls of the spherical cork thinner but the inside is hollow. All that remains inside is the air that was trapped a lifetime ago when this piece was created. And just like when this decanter was created it still has NO CRACKS, CHIPS, SCUFFS OR MISSING PIECES. This piece was on display and was never used to hold alcohol or liquid of any type.
