This nuno felted scarf is made from superfine medium grey merino with hand dyed pieces of blues, teals and fushia silk gauze, reminiscent of wonderful summer skies. The layering of silks create a rich deep charcoal grey as the base of colours on the front of the piece. Each end has individual locks of soft, Gotland lamb which was hand dyed to provide a gentle array of complimentary colours. The locks add on average 5 cm to each end of the measurement listed, which is for the finished felt.

Cleaning is very easy. Simply place the scarf in a basin with your favourite shampoo or a mild soap in cool or eco-warm water. Allow to soak for a few minutes, drain the soapy water and rinse in cool water. Roll in a towel to remove the excess moisture and lay flat or hang straight to dry. Due to the fitness of this felt and amount of silk used, it will dry very quickly.
