A Foxy purse: retailer upcycled hand painted purse.

Once upon a time this was a plain, unobtrusive purse. It held lipstick, handkerchiefs and anti-acid. Then it found its way to me and it said, “Make me foxy. Let me shine in the ways I've always wanted.” Take this sweet, heart-nosed fox out. It want to have some fun.

This purse is hand-painted by me (that's five years at art school working for ya) with professional-quality acrylic paint and sealed with UV-protective gloss finish coating. Acrylic paint is flexible, water-proof and durable, but it's not invulnerable to scratches.

This is a vintage tan pleather purse with a handle. It closes with a gold-tone clasp. Inside it is vinyl/plastic with a pocket. It is in good vintage condition.

All the purses I use are preowned and/or vintage. That means they are unique, and after painting, they are absolutely one-of-a-kind. I retailer scour local thrift stores for great bags ready for a second life. I clean them, prep them and paint them.
