Mixed media assemblage found art icon Blue Boy
Hi guys! This is a mixed media assemblage I made. Its base is a vintage wooden cuckoo clock back and chime. It has blue stain. The central figure is an antique tintype image from my stash that I resized and hand colored on vintage copper plate. I like how the curve of the chime wire matches the curve of his face and draws focus to the image. There are antique brass pump organ reeds, antique brass clock gears and vintage gold sequin stars. The "moon" has a rhinestone center accent. My pieces just "come together" as I am adding and removing and substituting and making do. I don't add "meanings" to my pieces. I leave that up to you! This is a bit of a "junk" icon. ( I will be adding more junk icons) It will be signed on the reverse when I ship. It has a sawtooth hanger on the back., I retain image copyright/ownership, no duplicating.
MEASUREMENTS: This is approx. 6 " tall x 5" wide counting the moon gears and 1/2-3/4" thick
