Mushroom Shotgun Fruiting Chamber (SGFC) 27 QT retailer

This is a 27-quart bin that has been drilled with 1/4 inch holes spaced 2 inches apart on all 6 sides. This bin is set-up to follow the "shotgun" fruiting method for BRF cakes, jars, spawn bags, and substrate blocks. The purpose of these holes is to allow FAE (Fresh Air Exchange) to help you create the perfect balance of fresh air and humidity within your chamber to induce fruiting.

Perlite is a very absorbent substrate that is recommended to be used as the base layer in your SGFC, it helps to maintain the humidity within your chamber. We recommend adding water to your perlite in a separate bin/bucket until the perlite is moist. The perlite should clump together, but not drip water. Squeeze excess water out if necessary. 8QT. bags of perlite can also be purchased for $7.
