I sell a handmade, recycled driftwood lamp. The shade is metal look and makes the lamp a special eye-catcher.
The trunk was found on the Elbe near Hamburg, collected dried and lovingly reworked by hand.
The foot was extracted from old discarded oak terraces and is about 20 years old and has holes.
Shade size: diameter 25 cm bottom, 16 cm top height 17
from foot to shade it is approx. 22 cm (trunk + foot)
the entire lamp covers the height of 38 cm, width of the foot 21 cm
Due to the retailer type of work with natural and recovered wood, no two pieces of furniture are the same. Although the design is the same, the width and thickness of the wood, the position of the nails and screws as well as the depth/color palette vary with each piece. The exact dimensions can vary up to 1.5 cm. These deviations mean that each beautiful product is completely unique to its owner. Each piece is lovingly upgraded, sanded and refined with beeswax. Each item offers a unique look in rustic charm.
The wood may show signs of use, such as scratches, nail holes, cracks, recesses, saw marks and a certain shrinkage/movement of the wood over time. All these features, coupled with expert grinding and waxing, lead to a rustic finish that you will see in your furniture.
Possibly existing cracks, bumps and color traces are desired uniquenesses!
