Welz Glass Vase Czech Tango Hand Blown Blue Cased Glass w/ Black Rim c. 1930s

This is a great piece to add to a Czech glass collection or as an introduction to the world of Czech glass.

Measurements:

3.75" diam x 6.75" tall

Condition:

Excellent condition. No noticed chips or damage. There are couple tiny flaws from the hand-made process that look like small bubbles. See photo showing the largest ones on the inside. The vase was used so there is some residue inside from retailer past bouquets but should be easy to remove with a soak. Normal wear for age. Please see all photos.

"A superb 1930's Czech/Bohemian red blown glass vase with applied black glass rim. This is a known shape made by Franz Welz. Known as "mono-coloured" or "tango" glass, this technique was developed by Loetz around 1914."
