Vintage science book: The Making Of A Scientist by Anne Roe, Apollo retailer Editions, 1960s?

In the fifties, women scientists were rare. While things have changed somewhat, statistically women do not do as well as men in math and science which is mostly because of social pressures and perceived norms. In 1952, Anne Roe published this book retailer which is inspirational to girls and women who are interested in pursuing this career path.

The book is in VG condition. A name in pencil is only writing or marking. Mostly clean pages. Good binding with a slightly concave spine but no creases. Good cover with mild wear.
