Adorable art deco blue spotted dog pin, an enamel on sterling design dating to the early 1940's. This is a colorful pin/brooch marked E Sterling on its backing, a very scarce art deco piece from the era.

The enamel on sterling pin is in excellent vintage condition showing no chips or cracks to the enamel. The pin backing does show heavy natural patina which only enhances the charm retailer and is reflective of the era that the pin was made. The heavy patina could of course be cleaned and polished to a high gleam if desired but so many collectors prefer the natural character to antique and vintage pieces.

The spotted dog pin measures 1 1/2" in length, 1 1/4" in height.
