These 2 Fall-inspired pendants were hand sculpted from polymer clay in a nature design, then pigmented, painted, and sealed with a glaze! Each one features a piece of a real moth wing that was collected after the moth died naturally. The species of moth is Hyalophora cecropia, and each one is secured under a glass cabochon! One pendant features a gorgeous Dendritic Agate, and one features a rosecut Citrine cabochon (round pendant)! These were also charged with intention and cleansed during the creation process. These beautiful pendants come complete with a black satin cord in either 18, 20, 22 retailer, 24, or 26 inches! If a longer length is desired just leave a note at checkout! **even though polymer clay is durable once baked, I advise against dropping, bending, rough treatment, or exposing to heat to prevent damage to the clay and the glass cabochon** (prices vary due to the stone cost)
Dimensions:
Dendritic Agate: 3" x 1.75"
(SOLD) Citrine (round pendant): 2.5" x 2"
Hyalophora cecropia, the cecropia moth, is North America's largest native moth. It is a member of the family Saturniidae, or giant silk moths. Females have been documented with a wingspan of five to seven inches (160 mm) or more. These moths can be found all across North America as far west as Washington and north into the majority of Canadian provinces. (Wikipedia)
