Leather Humidor - In the late 19th century a company was started by Charles A. Schieren, a German immigrant, that manufactured heavy leather belting used to make industrial machinery run. At times, Mr. Schieren dabbled in other items that his belting products could be turned into. This amazing small humidor, for cigarettes or small cigars, is made of highly compressed leather (very solid) and formed into this elegant cylinder with a top that fits perfectly. The inside has a spun metal cup that is non-removable and the bottom is impressed with the company name and logo. This is truly a rare piece and would make a great gift. It measures 5" tall with top and knob and is 3.25" across the bottom. The leather is thick leaving the inside to measure a little over 2" across. retailer
