Vtg Victorian retailer Shaving Mug and Soap Bowl w/ drain Hand painted Iris

retailer Handsomely gorgeous these two vanity items are hand painted in an aesthetic style. Decorated with nicely detailed Irises highlighted with gold, they are larger size pieces ( the shaving mug holds two cups). The soap dish still has both the cover and the ceramic soap drain ) . In very very good vintage condition (especially for two items over 130 years old) they are without chips or cracks but have fine crazing uniformly over both pieces ( seems to be an intentional effect) . There is a bit of wear to the gold on the lip, and occasionally a small darker spot to the glaze.
Really a great pair of matching antique shaving items, perfect for man or woman.
