Confini degli stati colorati.In ottime condizioni Dettagli biografici An early member of the Société de Géographie, Vuillemin's career as a mapmaker and atlas publisher spanned more than five decades after studying under the highly regarded cartographer Auguste Henri Dufour (1798-1865). He later partnered with Charles Monin who championed the use of lithography in the production of their maps but this early imprint still employed the medium of steelplate engraving, here masterfully executed by the Dépot Général de la Guerre engraver J.D. Lale with whom Vuillemin had a long association
