These striking mixed metal earrings epitomize my rustic elegance aesthetic. A mix of old meets new style marries this combination of unexpected materials together in an intriguing way. I've imprinted an elegant drop design onto sheet pewter and cold connected those unique pieces to hammer textured brass shields. Artisan bronze beads stacked below ceramic discs on darkened sterling wire adorn the shields. The lovely combination of textures paired with delicate and mysterious evokes an understated romantic vibe. These earrings will look equally great with a sexy little black dress, linen beach attire or jeans and a tee.
These medium light weight earrings are approximately 1 inch wide and 2 1/4 inches long from the top of the non-allergenic niobium ear wires to the bottom of the textured copper shields.
The aged patina applied to the shields has been protected with Renaissance wax and hand buffed to a subtle sheen.
