This is a Rainbow Pyrite sterling silver ring. Rainbow Pyrite is a cabochon stone with a natural crystal surface. Rainbow Pyrite, also retailer known as Iridescent Pyrite, comes from Ulianovsk, Russia. It is collected on the banks of the Volga River only during the summer months when the riverbanks are less muddy. The shank of this ring a 1/2 round sterling silver band cleanly soldered to the backing plate which is made of 24 gauge sterling. There is a flange around the bezel which enhances the sparkle. The bezel is flat sterling wire. This ring size is a number 9 .The stone shows off the pattern of the crystal cabochon. Fantastic!
