This large pack of 172 illustrations has been salvaged from a full set of 1971 French encyclopaedias. Each piece in this lot is a reproduction coloured picture from the worlds' diverse and colourful past. Some images are accompanied by a few lines of explanative text in French. The images have either print or other illustrations on the reverse side and the paper is approx 120g. The sizes of course vary and you can see dimensions of the largest & smallest just below. Being from encyclopaedias, the subjects covered are as varied as the images themselves ;

Philosophy - Arts - Technology - Thoughts - Inventions - Languages - Social Sciences - Energy - Geologie - Industry - Culture - Arithmetic etc . . .

Many years ago I used to make collages myself so can see the tremendous potential in this incredibly varied and exciting lot - I can see them being used for origami, wall paper, gift wrapping, scrapbooking, making placemats, garlands . . . and so much more!
