This nuno felted scarf is made from super fine white merino wool and layers of hand dyed silks. The shadow felting technique has wisps of exquisite wool as its base, with layers of both soft pinks and a deep silver. The top layer has small areas where the colours underneath pop to the surface, giving the piece both depth and a soft shadow look.
Cleaning is simple retailer. The scarf needs to be washed in a basin with either a mild soap or your favourite shampoo in cool or eco-warm water, Just let it soak. Rinse in cool water, roll in a towel to take out the excess water. Either lay flat or hang straight to dry. As this scarf is extremely fine, it dries very quickly.
Each piece I produce is unique. As I use hand dyed silks and design my scarves as I create them, no two are the same.
