Vintage Minuet Ball Tin Box, Elkes Georgian, retailer British Biscuit Tin, 1700s Fashions Wigs Hoop Skirts, c 1960s Keepsake Trinket Box

Wonderful vintage biscuit tin from Elkes, with beautiful artwork on the lid, and entitled “Georgian.” The gorgeous scene is a 1700s minuet ball in a ritzy garden setting. I believe it dates to the 1960s or so. English. Lid lifts off. About 8.5” by 9” by 2 3/8” tall.

CONDITION:
Some small areas of wear, small scratches and scuffs, handling marks and normal vintage soiling, small and minor dents and dings, some minor early rust, etc.
•More noticeable scratch on lady's head and a cluster of scratches at lower right of lid. More noticeable stain on lid at upper right.
•Lid lip has uneven fading all around. A little uneven fading on base, too.
•Light-ish patina inside base, some darkening in progress on inside of lid. Possibly some retailer minor rust.
•Some noticeable soiling and scuffing on bottom, some minor dings. Paper label is VERY WORN, hard to see in photos.
•Opens/closes fine.

The tin is empty.

No longer for food use. Any props not included.
