Hand-forged bracelet made of pure copper, patinated, hammered, retailer malleable, sealed. Unique

I cut this bangle from a strip of old copper, partially perforated, burned out, hammered and pressed. The raised, polished middle part is framed with a copper wire, which runs on to the two ends of the ripe, giving the piece further dimensional stability. Nevertheless, the strength of the copper remains low enough to adjust the circumference with little effort. The natural patina as well as the polished copper has been sealed with a skin-friendly, elastic lacquer - the luminosity of the colors as well as the pure copper is preserved for so long, and there is no unsightly skin discoloration when worn.

The bracelet length is 16 cm plus retailer 4-5 cm hing opening. The bangle is between 5 and 3 cm wide.

The opening can be further bent or narrowed.

The ripe is inspired by my years in the Western Australian outback, the search for precious metal, the free, wild days on the beaches of the Southern Ocean. Red, hot earth and cool, turquoise-blue water, blazing sunshine. the boreholes in the ground and the light rays through the foliage of the Mallee and Gum trees.
So poetically condensed in a unique piece of jewelry craft.

Either way, I like the result, and I'm proud of it. If in a few years it has worn one or the other scratch, the colors have lost intensity - send it to me for a few days, and I renew it with joy.
