I wrote this copycat pattern to mimic the “CC Beanie” that has been so popular at the mountains, around town the past few years. I have even noticed a machine knit version retailer at the Paper Store! It is super soft with the perfect amount of slouch. The yarn is a high quality super bulky weight so it is nice and warm. This is one of my favorites and I believe it will be one of yours as well.
This hat is knit with 100% luxurious merino wool! Before COVID hit, I worked at my favorite yarn store. I always splurge on my yarn because Knitting is my passion. It is not worth the time spent knitting if you do not enjoy the process or the end result. The faux pom-pom is about 7” in size. I do not make the pom-poms. I purchase them form a seller who hand makes them, so they may vary slightly in size and color. I have three yarn choices available, cream with a brownish color pom-pom, black with a black pom-pom and ice blue with a cream colored pom-pom. You may also just purchase the hat with no pom-pom. I like to refer to this hat as , “The Dog Walkers Hat”.
