STORY:
This one was a slow process. I had first made the signatures but did know how i wanted to cover.
To begin, this one has a suede and leather cover, with a black suede tie for closure. When i started making this cover i channeled dieselpunk and decopunk styles, thinking this belongs to retailer a female pilot, this is her dossier. Some pages have cogs dyed markings, an artwork of her lover, he father who got her into being a pilot and a place shes dreams of living. At the very back there are 3 envelopes, the bottom one has a distressed blueprint of a plane, perhaps hers, the floral envelope has a letter from her love and a beautiful photograph that she carries with her always and a ticket stub perhaps from when they first met. the top envelope is for communiques...
I loved making this, it was a trip!


It is difficult to put a price on handmade when the labour of love out-ways dollars spent.
