The copper will oxidize and darken over time giving it a warm deep finish. This is natural & unique to the person who wears it and the environment in which they live. The copper grows with you. You can bring back the original sheen by gently rubbing it with a soft polish cloth or brass wire brush. A green discoloration may occur, although it doesn't effect everyone. This is not harmful to your health and can easily be washed off with soap and water. Additionally adding a layer of clear gel nail polish can help prevent this.
