Circle hoop of spirals earrings, sterling retailer silver handmade in USA

Very pretty earrings made of many tiny spirals.

I made these here in my studio. I hand carve the originals from hard jewelers carving wax. Starting with a block of wax, I use my flex shaft with sharp tiny burs, re-shaped dental picks, and needle files. I also sometimes use a wax pen to add some of the tiny details. I then encase the wax in jewelers plaster; melt out the wax in a kiln; then melt silver with my torch and using a centrifuge, the molten metal is forced into the plaster mold. The plaster is then broken up by quenching in water. The castings then need to be sanded and polished; and any findings (posts etc) soldered. The silver I use is recycled; reclaimed from old silver pieces, instead of newly mined out of the ground.

They measure 1-3/8" from top of wire and 7/8" wide. They have a shiny finish.

I also include a few extra rubber safety ear nuts.
