Two beautiful old Dutch cheese moulds.
Beautiful lived-in items to be used as flower pots, containers or as decorative objects on their own.
Oak with metal.
Very nice natural patina.
Largest mould; 23*23 cm. and weight; 2526 gram.
Smallest form; 19*19 cm. and weight;1523 gram.
Condition, smallest form very good. On the largest form, of the 4 nails that hold the metal band in place, two are not through the wood. This causes the band to move a little and therefore the wood to move as well. In principle this is normal, because cheese has to breathe. When the object stands and is used it is certainly not a hindrance!
