Popeye The Sailor lint brush

Found at the estate of the original owners. He saved a few select items retailer from his youth.

Made of wood, marked on the side, "Monarch" and on the other side, "Pure Bristol Sterilized". Has the Popeye decal on the front dated 1929. The decal designs are typical until up to the 1950s.

Measuring 5 1/4 inches long x 1 1/2 inches wide x 1 1/2 inches high. In good overall condition, well kept. Clean. Has scuffing about, scratching, has a visible scuff on the end (see photos). The decal is clear and strong with a couple scuffs and 1 scuff through the lettering. marked, "1928 King Features Syn-Inc."

A real fun find.
