Antique, Victorian, needle case or needle book etui. It is shaped like a velvet covered book and the pages pull out to hold needles and other sewing accessories. The only things left are 2 packages of needles. One is a very fine golden eye needles, probably for darning or quilting. The package is Alfred Schrimpton Redditch.

The velvet on the back has a black stain on it. It is worn overall because of the age. Accessories are missing retailer. See photos.
