Fantastic vintage condition! The box has age and ware as shown but it exudes character! Ware of box does not reflect the ware of the books themselves. They have been gently used with very mild signs of ware. Bindings have some denting and there is a small black spot on the edge of one of the pages, I didn't see any other ware inside the books. Please see photos for close detail, they are not in perfect condition but have been very well maintained. This is the second printing of this series in 1960. The first printing being in 1959. Later printings continued through the 70s. retailer
