Fine Art Collage 12in by 12in mounted on 1.5 inch canvas Titled "Twilight and evening bell" Mixed Media Original Artwork, OOAK Art retailer Piece

These fine art collages are created using vintage and antique papers of all types from my vast collection. I love the honest aging of all these pieces...especially the foxing, tears, yellowing and bending with age. The collages are mounted on watercolor paper before being adhered to the frame: in this case it is a deep edged canvas with collaged/painted edges.

This particular art piece was created with cover to a Van Gogh print book, old McCalls fashion magazine page, antique poetry book page, handwritten math notes, antique marbled paper, piece of mercury photo and frame, and a feather. I love the india ink that retailer was spilled on the print cover. I add a title to each piece in the form of typewritten poetry attached to the back of the art. The piece has been sprayed with a sealer to prevent any damage to the artwork.
