Large Royal Haeger Lava Glaze Ashtray, Abstract Earth Wrap Number 2094, retailer Mid Century Modern 60s

Mid Century Modern large art pottery ashtray with earth wrap lava glaze and abstract design.

Made by Royal Haeger in the 60s, this retailer mod piece has 5 slots that may be large enough for cigars and deep enough for pipe smokers.

The lava glaze is in a burnt orange and somewhat dulled harvest gold glaze on top of a dark chocolate brown.

Mostly seen on coffee tables back in the 60s, this mod ashtray would look quite at home in a home bar.

Measurements: 12 1/4" from one point to another, 9" across from point to curve, 8 1/2" from top near slots to the back rim with slots, 1 3/4" tall, slots 12" wide

Condition: no chips or cracks, glaze thin on one area inside ashtray top, light white marking on one side, very heavy piece
