Retailer Vintage 50's Gaymode Brown Basket Barrel Handbag Lucite Trim

This is one of my favorite vintage handbags from my personal collection. Interior label for Gaymode. Made in Hong Kong. This is dark brown basketweave barrel shape purse. The "straw" is actually a plastic-like or coated fiber. This has leather trim and handles with amber tortoiseshell rings holding on the straps. Silvertone metal clasp with amber tortoiseshell detail and little starburst. Interior is lined in brown vinyl with interior pocket of white. Excellent condition. Measures about 10 1/2" long and 6 1/2" wide retailer at the widest portion. Handle drop is about 6".
