Vintage Crewel Embroidery Clock - Framed retailer - Hexagon Wood Frame

retailer Vintage crewel embroidery clock, floral design, framed in a hexagonal wood frame. It is 15-1/2" tall and 17" wide. The frame is 1-1/2" from the wall. The crewelwork is well done. The XII and the VI are not precisely lined up vertically center. There are stains in the center and toward the right edge. I made no attempt to clean these. The frame also has some scuffs at the top right corner. The seconds hand is slightly bent. I had to push the hour hand down more securely onto the shaft and after traveling to you, you might have to do that as well. The fabric is taped onto the cardboard back. It uses a AA battery (not included). It has been running several days and seems to be keeping the correct time.

This would have been made from a kit that included the frame, probably from Lee Wards.
