Antique 1911 Real Photo Post Card of Edward VIII investiture.

Card is in very good condition as it came out of a period post card album with appropriate age fading and has retailer corner ablum holder marks as well as a few minor crinckles. Overall very good condition.

"His Investiture Ceremony, which was the first to take place at Caernarfon Castle in Wales, occurred on July 13th, 1911. Prince Edward became King Edward VIII upon the death of his father George V on January 20th 1936. His abdication 326 days later, paved the way for his younger brother Prince Albert to become King."

Card comes in a complimentary archival hard plastic top loader sleeve.
