Wall retailer plate with tropical birds and a pelican on porcelain

This porcelain wall plate is a beautiful piece of wall decoration. The plate has holes in the back and comes with a special wire you can use to attach the plate to the wall. This round painting combines multiple birds of different paintings by Melchior d'Hondecoeter. The pelican is one of the most well known characters on the plate! He was painted for Palace het Loo in 1680. The birds came together once more, but this time to sit as a model for a modern wall retailer plate and with one of our beautiful Delft blue vases.
