Single Pomegranate Segment Gouache retailer Painting

Focusing on colour and composition was the starting retailer point for this still life painting collection. Concentrating on a single pomegranate, Single Pomegranate Segment is the first gouache painting of the series. I decided to pay attention in particular to the translucency of the pomegranate seeds, while also keeping this painting quite loose.
