A Charming Vintage Southern Belle String retailer Holder, Crinoline Lady, Made in Japan, Hand Painted, 1940s, Farmhouse Kitchen

A charming vintage pottery string holder or dispenser from the 1940s. This whimsical piece is in the form of three young ladies in pretty crinoline dresses holding flowers, a hand bag and an umbrella and all wearing cute bonnets.

The holder is made in Japan "Superior Quality" and is hand painted. The holder has it's original string at the top and it can be wall hung or sit on a shelf. The holder measures 6 inches tall (15cms) and is 4.2 inches wide (10cms). There is a hole at the front to feed the string through.

The holder is in very good vintage condition and I see no chips or repairs. There are a few marks to the interior and the piece is crazed throughout as is retailer normal with these older pottery pieces. This is a vintage item and is not new.
