1960s Mid retailer Century STILETTOS, HERBERT LEVINE Shoes, Joseph Magnin Shoes, Vintage Stilettos , 60s Dior New Look, 1960s Vintage Black Pumps, 7N

Early 1960s classics from HERBERT LEVINE for Joseph Magnin remain a prime example of late mid century style design that set the fashion world aflame, initiated by Christian Dior and what became known as The Dior New Look. In AMAZING used condition, these are without gouges, stains, misshape, odor, deterioration or discoloration. These are clean as a whistle and the leather is in miraculous pliable, unmarred, luxurious condition; they are smooth and soft. Handwritten handmade couture markings on the right interior, indicate vintage size, craftsman's mark, and the style number. SIMPLY AMAZING and worthy of retailer a place in a museum exhibit, where Herbert Levine is so often found (see the Met Museum's COSTUME INSTITUTE'S collection)...These are vintage sized so use the measurements: Including the point toe, these measure about 10" from heel to the tip of the toe-box, so about 8.5" or 8.75" for a realistic length; and the heel height is about 3.5" - Perhaps best on a modern day 7 (?) NARROW??
