Traditional style Malachite and Sterling Silver Pendant on a necklace of Malachite and Sterling Silver Beads.

The pendant is of the older, traditional Aian style. A timeless design that tells of history and quality, artisan workmanship. It has been in my personal collection for many years waiting for me to decide on a way to offer it as a complete jewelry item. Rather than simply add it to a chain or cord I have chosen to thread it on a strand of reconstituted, natural malachite beads with sterling silver.

Reconstitued Malachite is much more affordable form than natural cut Malachite which is very expensive. It loses nothing of it's beauty or interesting markings and retains its richness of color. Each stone is different in its markings. The color is mainly a deep emerald/forest green with lighter and darker green shades in bands, fine lines and circling.

The necklace is finished with a sterling silver toggle clasp.
